Adobe Photoshop Express out in beta
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008
I love Photoshop and use it all the time to touch up, enhance or manipulate my digital photographs. It is an expensive programme but the good news is that Adobe has released a online version for free called Photoshop Express. It won’t be as extensive as the full programme but much easier to use and convenient for blogging. I haven’t tried it out yet but it’s a terrific idea and I guess it will be a rival to picnik, another online photo editing freeware programme.
In order to use Photoshop Express, you have to create an account, upload your photos where you can sort them, then the option to resize, tint, distort, change to black and white, and many more. The other good news is that Adobe is giving everyone up to 2GB of space to store their photos - terrific. You can create your own gallery or exhibit and let people play and interact with it. You can display your images in 3D or as a grid. It all sounds very exciting and I am going to try it out.
