Our 10th Wedding Anniversary!

On Friday, my husband and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary and my gorgeous hubby bought me a bunch of beautiful peach roses. Now, any non-artistic person would just shove them in a vase and admire them but artists cannot resist the opportunity to photograph,paint or sketch the flowers and that’s exactly what I did. I took lots of photographs of these roses in the afternoon sun and my absolute favourite is of my cat Domino. She came to investigate what I was doing and rubbed against me and the flowers so of course I captured her.

Can’t Stay Awake!

I laughed out loud when I watched this and it reminds me of myself when I stay up too late blogging and my husband yells out to me when I’m in my study “Are you awake in there?”. “Yes!” I quickly say, after opening my eyes and sitting upright again, staring blankly at the computer screen which usually has the screen saver on, only to nod off again …
