I was kindly invited into a neighbour’s garden the other day who has a passion for orchids. One of the more unusual exotic plants I was lucky enough to see and photograph is a black bat plant (Tacca chantrieri) and I have never seen anything like it before.
I tried something a bit different in this artwork and I am enjoying working with silhouettes, patterns and layers at the moment. I like the simplicity of this new artwork and it has an oriental feel. I hope you like it.

Thought I would start this new category as I keep seeing the most beautiful photographs of baby animals so I’ll try to make regular postings. I just can’t resist them and never tire of seeing the antics and close bond they have with their parents. Nothing like a good dose of aaaaaawh!
